Liam's FIRST birthday ... oh how special it was!

Gram made these super cool hats ... we're going to save them to wear at every b-day celebration

Almost ONE!!

Liam feeding himself =) Mmmmm. Bananas and blueberry pancake! Liam in his Berkeley tie dye helping Daddy with the dishes. Liam and Daddy have matching hats! Hanging out in the kitchen contemplating what to get into next ;). First (professional) haircut ... daddy gave him his first one ... but we won't be sharing pictures of those! His other favorite monkey hat.

Liam's first Christmas! Hi Everyone ... It's been an ABSURD amount of time since I last posted ... and now Liam is almost ONE!! I can't believe it. Motherhood (and fatherhood) has treated us well (albeit we're just a tad more tired and a smidge more disorganized and we trip over small toys, trinkets and dogs quite often). Liam is such a sweet, brave and funny child! We love him so much! He's on the verge of walking ... he pretty much migrates around any room using furniture and people's pant legs. He says "Ma Ma" (first word! yippie! =) ) quite often and "Da da" once in a while. He has many babbling sessions ... not sure what he is saying yet, but I am sure it is important! He has 7-1/2 teeth (one is on the way) and eats LOTS of things =). Exciting news! Liam just received his first HARNESS, a full body harness, from Gene's good friend Bobbi. It's a bit baggy yet ... but we'll have him out there belaying us in no time! HA ha. Love and Hugs, The Pires Clan

Liam's first Halloween =)

Hi there ...

Well, to be completely honest ... Liam spent Halloween at the urgent care clinic getting diagnosed with the croup ... but mommy slept better knowing that he was going to be okay even though he sounded like Darth Vader =(.

BUT, that doesn't mean that we wouldn't be able to see him in his super cute Halloween costume! Many thanks to Angela and Michael for their amazing photography skills and patience!

Da Chariot

Yo ... check out the new wheels!

It's called the "Chariot" ... pretty cool, huh?

Gene just ordered the bike attachment and I'm sure we'll

be ordering the ski attachment before too long!

Liam really seems to enjoy it ... he's at eye level with the dogs and is snug as a bug in a rug in there!

He's really starting to talk lots and his smiles just make us
